Iran: when trying to leave country, a poet who insulted Ali Chamenei

Opposition Iranian poet and artist Kasem Bahrami on the nicknamed “Shaidaya Hamedani” was detained while trying to leave the country, Iranian media reported.

According to information, he was arrested on the evening of January 16, when he tried to leave the country with the help of a group related to foreign services.

The poet is accused of insulting the feelings of believers and saints. According to statements, Bakhmi does it to gain fame and refuge in Europe.

Kasem Bakhrai was arrested in September of this year for burning photos of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Khamenei and was released on bail at the end of November last year.
