Iran is ready to connect its electrical network to the power grids of Azerbaijan and Russia, said Minister of Energy Iran Ali Akbar Mehrabian, reports Irna.
At a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador in Tehran Ali Alizade, Mehrabian emphasized Iran’s readiness to expand water-energy relations with Azerbaijan.
He noted that Iran completed the research project of synchronization (electrical network connection) Energy Systems of Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia, stating Iran’s readiness to the executive operation of this project.
According to the agreements between Baku, Tehran and Moscow, the ELECTURE OF Iran will be connected to Russia through Azerbaijan.
