The head of the Iranian atomic energy organization Mohammad Islam said that the new uranium enrichment facility will be launched immediately after the centrifuge installation.
In an interview with Iranian state television, Islam commented on Tehran’s answer to the resolution of the Council of Governing IAEA, nominated by the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany.
He noted that in response to the adoption of the anti -Iranian resolution, it was decided to create a “new center for enriching uranium in a safe place.”
“In response to these illegal, politicized and radical actions, Iran launches the third object to enrich uranium. This object was built, prepared and is a safe and inaccessible place,” he said.
According to Islam, Iran will inform the IAEA on this issue.
“The process of installing centrifuges will begin. As soon as the machines are mounted, the object will begin to enrich uranium,” he added.
Islam also emphasized that new generation centrifuges will be used at the new facility.
Currently, Uranus enrichment enterprises are located in the Tanans (Province of Isfahan) and Fordo (Kum Province).
