Iranian authorities buried deceased journalist in an unknown place

Iran’s authorities in a complete secrecy were buried by the body of the journalist Raza Hagigatjad, who died in Berlin, the Iranian Radio Liberty Service reports.

Political analyst in Reza Hagigatjad died at the age of 45 from cancer in Berlin on October 17. Relatives claim that they received all the necessary permits so that he is buried in the hometown of Surez.

The body of the deceased was delivered to Iran on October 25. Relatives were pressure to force them to agree to a funeral in another city. The authorities themselves did not comment on the situation.

October 27, it became known that Iran’s special services have prevented the funeral in the country of the journalist Claus Hagigatzhada.

According to sources, agents of the Corps of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (Ksir) seized the body and took it out in an unknown direction.

The fact that the body of Hagigatjad was buried was reported to the KSIR family. Representatives of the Guardians handed over to the Father Hagigatjad a photograph, which, states, captures the grave of the journalist. The location of the burial is not disclosed.
