Iranian court ordered number of structures and people of United States to pay $ 313 million for 2017 terrorist attack

The court in Iran was sentenced by the US government and a number of American officials, including ex-presidents of George Bush Jr. and Barack Obama, to pay compensation in the amount of about $ 313 million for Tiegran’s terrorist terrorist organization in 2017 . This was reported by Mizan news agency affiliated with the Iranian judicial system.

A lawsuit against the government, a number of officials and structures of the United States filed families of those killed as a result of the attack.

In particular, along with former US Presidents Obama and Bush, the list of defendants in the Tiegran terrorist case also included: Central Intelligence Directorate (CIA), Central Command of the United States (CentCom) former commander of Centcom Tommy Franks, Ministry of Finance, Lockheed Martin and American Airways Group. This group of persons and structures was accused of playing a fundamental role in organizing and managing terrorist groups, including deash militants.

The court sentenced the government, institutions and officials of the United States to pay compensation in the amount of 9 million 950 thousand dollars for causing material damage, another $ 104 million for moral damage and $ 199 million as penalties. All these funds should be paid to the families of those killed as a result of a terrorist attack in Tehran.

The victims of the attack, which occurred on June 7, 2017 in Tehran, became 12 people, another 43 residents of the Islamic Republic were injured. A series of attacks was carried out on the parliament of Iran and Mausoleum Khomeini.

The responsibility for the attack was taken by one of the terrorist organizations.
