On August 22, in the end of the opening ceremony of the 7th Udezan International Festival of Documentary Films (Udezhan – Armenian village is 1 km north of the Erevan-Gyumri highway) “Apricot Tree” will take place the premiere of the film “Udezhanskaya Story”. This is the film for the joint production of Armenia and Iran, the author of which is the Iranian director Shahra Badakhshan Mehr, who won the Grand Prix in the framework of the Apricot Tree 2017. Iranian director Shahm Mehr said that he was in love with the atmosphere of Uggan and who took his family of Manvelan, returned to Udezhan in 2019 and removed a full-length film about his masters and Uggan with the support of the Armenian Public Organization “Filmadaran”, which is the initiator of the festival.
