Between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan by Jayhun Bayramov and the head of Iran, Hosein Amir Abdollahian, a telephone conversation took place.
As reported in the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, the ministers exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations.
Calling the development of events for the last week, the ministers emphasized as a mutual positive movement of the relevant Iranian departments on the need to respect the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as the release of two Iranian drivers Azerbaijan.
During the telephone conversation, the importance of continuing the activities of the joint intergovernmental commission was emphasized, the composition of which was updated by the new Iranian administration.
Parties stressed the importance of solving all disagreements by dialogue.
