Iranian Navy intercepted two tankers with smuggling fuel

Iranian Navy intercepted two tankers in the Persian Gulf, who allegedly transported 210 thousand liters of smuggled fuel.

Prosecutor General of the province of Hormozgan Mudzhte Kahrmani said that the vessel has been intercepted near the island of Keshm, the Tasnim news agency reports.

Iranian authorities report the detention of 14 members of the tanker crews.

On Wednesday, Iran also reported on the detention of two tankers in the Persian Gulf, transporting 4 million 580 thousand liters of smuggled fuel.
