Iranian parliament adopted a bill providing for the removal of four zeros from the national currency and regulating the use of Rial and its Kirana subunits.
, according to the official Iranian information agency, at the next meeting of the parliament, the objections of the Constitution of the Constitution on this bill were considered.

In accordance with the law, the national currency is determined by the “RIL”, while 10 thousand Rials will be equal to the 1st Rial of the new currency. Rial’s subunits are determined by Kiran (Kurush).
The transition period to the new currency will last no more than 3 years. During this period, old banknotes and coins will be seized.
