Iranian President discussed with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan trade and economic cooperation

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi held negotiations with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov in Tehran.

According to Irna, the parties discussed in particular the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Raisi called Kazakhstan one of the influential countries of the Eurasian Union, and emphasized the importance of developing relations between the two countries in the economic and trade areas.

Iranian President said that trade relations between the two countries have expanded significantly last year.

Smailov, in turn, said that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the development of relations with Iran in the field of economic and trade investment.

Smailov expressed the hope of accelerating the implementation of agreements between Tehran and Astana, which would benefit both countries.
