“Iraqi military took under full control the border with Syria and completed the construction of the barrier all over the border,” the Iraqi border command was reported.
The commander of the border troops of Iraq Hamid Al-Husseini called it a “important security step”, which will cease to further penetrate terrorists into the country’s territory.
Note that in July of this year, 3 soldiers of the Iraqi army were attacked and were injured in the Irako Syrian border.
