The USA purchases heavy water of Iranian production used in nuclear reactors through third parties. This was stated by Foreign Minister Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan, reports the Iranian agency Tasnim.
“The United States purchases Iranian heavy water through an intermediary. The Western official told me that the highest quality heavy water produced in the world belongs to Iran,” he said.
On the other hand, Abdollahiyan said that there is no progress in the resumption of a nuclear agreement, which was practically canceled after the US unilateral release in 2018.
“We said from the very beginning that we would not cross the red line. We have a document, and we did not return to the agreement since the other party did not take into account our red lines.
