National Security Advisor, the head of the National Security Council, Eyal Hulat, was the first senior Israeli official to publicly confirm Israeli operations on the territory of Iran in 2022 writes The Jerusalem Post.
“We often acted over the past year … in Iran,” he said in an interview with channel 13 in questions about whether Jerusalem would act directly against Tehran even in the face of pressure from the USA.
According to him, Israel will act independently against Iran, regardless of the point of view of the United States on this issue. He added that “it will be just a continuation of what they have already done last year.”
As the publication writes, although several high -ranking officials previously confirmed the operations of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Israeli Mossad in Iran in 2022, Hulat was the first to publish the information. In Iran, as well as sources in the United States, also made similar statements.
