Israel presented world’s first unmanned electric helicopter

The Specialists of the Israeli company Steadicopter presented their own development – the world’s first electric unmanned helicopter Black Eagle 50 Electric, which is intended for use in both military and civilian purposes, reports Defence Blog.

It is noted that the characteristics allow the aircraft to demonstrate high performance and maximum flexibility.

The helicopter can be used to conduct search and rescue operations, in the field of cybernetics, for intelligence purposes, as well as surveys of gas and oil steps and during the operations of the Navy.

At the maximum take-off weight in 50 kg, the maximum permissible load of the helicopter is at least 30 kg.

The aircraft may continuously be in the air to 2 hours and is equipped with a double electric motor, which makes it inexpensive to use and does not produce harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
