Israel will build in Turkey world’s largest wave power plant in world

The Israeli company EWP announced this month the signing of an agreement with the Turkish OOE on the construction of the world’s largest wave power plant in the Turkish port of the Horde on the Black Sea coast, Turkish media reports.

“This sign agreement will allow us to receive environmentally friendly electricity from Turkish sources for the first time,” said Inna Braverman, head of EWP.

As the Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post writes, “there is hope that it is a Turkish-Israeli enterprise will pave the way to release the huge potential, which is currently hidden in the oceans, for the production of a huge number of a fair-haired, environmentally friendly electricity.”
