Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Dick visited the National Ophthalmological Center named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva. This was reported by the press service of the Israeli Embassy.
According to the ambassador, Israeli doctors who arrived in Azerbaijan have cured more than 100 participants in the war.
“I spoke with one of the doctors. He noted that during this time he performed more operations here than in 6 months in Israeli clinics. This is a clear confirmation of our cooperation, our friendship. We want to help these people restore their health, to regain confidence in strength, ability to work and live well, normally and with dignity at home – in Azerbaijan. I believe that this is a sign of friendship between our countries. I believe that this friendship will grow stronger in the future, “the Israeli diplomat said.
