On February 1, on the initiative of the Israeli side, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and Israeli Minister of Defense by Joan Galant.
noting that Azerbaijani-Israeli relations are based on friendship and mutual trust, Galant expressed satisfaction with the prevailing bilateral cooperation. Gasanov congratulated Galant on the appointment of the Minister of Defense of Israel and expressed confidence in the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the military sphere.
During a telephone conversation, the parties decisively condemned the committed terrorist acts, discussed regional security issues and prospects for military-technical cooperation.
