At the same time, the Istanbul airport, the opening of which took place with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 29, 2018, entered his name in gold letters in the history of Turkey aviation, Karasmailille noted.
The Minister said that 38,888 flights were executed in January, 35 561 in February, 39,396 in March, in April – 40,734 flights and in May – 44 031.
“In January -Maya, the Istanbul airport was generally made by 198,610 flights, of which 147,502 on international lines and 51 108 on internal lines.
