British Prime Minister Cyrus Starmer said that Ukraine wants peace, but Russian President Vladimir Putin is not tuned to the world.

In his speech at the 6th Summit of the European Political Community (EPK) in the capital of Albania, Tiran Starmer noted that the community is an important platform for solving general issues that excite Europe.

Pointing that the world is experiencing a new era of instability, Starkmer expressed the opinion that they want to focus in the future, and not continue the old debate between Europe and Great Britain.

“We significantly expanded our relations with European allies. This cooperation is an important indicator of our promise to ensure security,” the prime minister said.

According to him, the government, which took office in July, will hold the first summit of the UK-European Union (EU) on Monday in London.

Having called the inability to establish a strong and fair world in Ukraine one of these problems, he recalled the sanctions imposed by Great Britain against Russia.

Reminding the work done with France President Emmanuel Macron on the creation of peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, Starmer added: “Last week we are (German Chancellor) Fredrich Mertz and (Polish Prime Minister) Donald Tusk met with (Ukrainian President) Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev. This is not only an important symbol of our solidarity, but also a demonstration the same values ​​for which we fought in the Second World War, ending 80 years ago. “

According to the prime minister, Putin must unconditionally sit down at the table of negotiations about the world: “We presented an ultimatum, we must be prepared to continue this policy.”

He believes that Putin is not seriously tuned to the world, Ukraine is the side that wants peace.

Starmer made it clear that the UK will contribute to the solution of this issue, it is necessary to take the necessary steps for the overall security and stability of Europe.

Prime Minister noted that illegal migration is also an important problem for Europe, people traders are aimed at the weakest people and regions and are a “spot for the migration system.”
