The Italian Saipem Oil Service Company will pave the pipeline to the Sakarya gas field in the Turkish Black Sea sector.
The pipeline will be built as part of the second phase of the development of the field in the Turkish Black Sea sector.
The company said that the contract for the design, supply, construction and installation of the gas pipeline was signed between the SAIPEM and the subsidiary of the TPAO TP -otc company, which is engaged in reconnaissance and prey at the gas field in the Sakary.
According to the contract, the Saipem will pave the pipeline 175 km long and 16 inches with a diameter of 2200 m.
The implementation of the project starts in the summer of 2024.
