In the north of Italy, there were collisions between the police and the opponents of COVID certificates, RIA Novosti reports.

Collisions between law enforcement officers and manifestations occurred on Saturday evening in Trieste and Milan, where opponents of the so-called Green Pass (electronic covid certificates) organized large protest demonstrations.

According to this information, several hundred protesters tried to break through to the main area of ​​Trieste, where to solve the city authorities, access to the manifestations to this Saturday was prohibited. The law enforcement officers applied the batons and pushed the violators of the order from the square. According to the testimony of journalists, chairs and tables from local bars flew towards police and carabineers, as well as glass bottles. Currently, the collisions ceased, but the manifestations do not leave the city center, and some of them even arranged there a sediment demonstration there. Law enforcement officers reported the detention of several people.
