Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kisida stated that the country closes the borders for all foreign citizens from Tuesday, November 30, against the background of concerns about the spread of the new Omicron-strain of Coronavirus, the Agency “Xinhua” reports.

According to the head of the government, the decision is a temporary measure, while the new variety of COVID-19 will not be known anymore.
