Japan has introduced sanctions against Putin and 49 Russian companies

Japan introduced sanctions against a number of leading Russian officials, as well as 49 companies, organizations and banks. The appropriate statement is published on the Japanese Foreign Ministry website on Tuesday, March 1, reports Deutsche Welle.

In the sanction list included Russian President Putin, as well as the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

“Admiralty shipyard”, as well as aircraft enterprises “Irkut”, “Sukhoi”, “Tupolev”, “MiG”, “Kazan Helicopter Plant”, “Kazan Helicopter Plant”, “Kazan Helicopter Plant”, Oak and OSK, are subject to penalties. In addition, the Ministry of Defense and all divisions of the Russian army, Rosoboronexport, Oboronprom, FSB and SVR, as well as the Treasury of Russia, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, VEB and Promsvyazbank, the State Corporation “Rostech” were used.
