Japan imposed sanctions against relatives of Kadyrov, Shoigu and Medvedev

The Government of Japan introduced restrictions against over 80 Russian individuals, as well as nine Russian organizations in connection with the annexation of Russia of four regions of Ukraine. The sanctions list is published on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Japan.

The relatives of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Council of the Federation Valentina Matvienko, deputy chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars Dmitry Medvedev, Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, director of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov fell under the restrictions. The list includes the gymnast Alina Kabaeva, which Western countries consider the close friend of President Vladimir Putin, as well as the leader of the biker club “Night Wolves” Alexander Zaldostanov nicknamed the surgeon. Their assets will be frozen.
