Japan protested China

The Minister of Defense of Japan Nobuo Kishi said that five ballistic missiles released by China landed in the exceptional economic zone of Japan (IEZ) as part of the military exercises of the PRC.

The teachings, the largest in the history of China in the Taiwan Strait, began, as planned, at noon and included combat firing in the waters to the north, south and east of Taiwan, reports Reuters.

“We expressed a decisive protest on diplomatic channels,” Kishi noted.

The zone extends 200 naval miles from the external borders of the territorial waters of Japan, and in the past, North Korean missiles fell into another part of the IEZ of Japan.

Two days after the speaker of the House of US representatives Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan, and just a few hours after China stated that the planned meeting between his foreign ministers and the Japanese Foreign Minister was canceled due to the statement G7 by Taiwan.
