Japan will present a plan for global nuclear disarmament

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kisida during his upcoming participation in the review conference of countries – participants in the agreement on non -proliferation of nuclear weapons (day) intends to submit a plan aimed at implementing global nuclear disarmament. Kisida said this in an interview with the Japanese agency Kyodo.

“I plan to call for the international community to cooperate, having made public by reaching the world without nuclear weapons,” he said. He also emphasized that his plan will take into account the situation in Ukraine.

He will become the first Prime Minister of Japan who will visit the sightseeing conference of the participants of the day. Kisida also intends to emphasize that Japan will continue its nuclear policy. Tokyo adheres to the policies of three nuclear principles – not to have, not to produce nuclear weapons, he added.
