On Friday, May 13, as part of a meeting of the Council of Foreign City Ministers of the CIS in Dushanbe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jahun Bayramov met with the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, the press service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the ministers noted with satisfaction a high level of development of cooperation between the two countries.
It was noted that steps were taken to strengthen cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in a number of directions, including trade, economic, humanitarian, cultural and other areas, an exchange of views on the further development of relations.
Minister Norov emphasized that Uzbekistan always unconditionally supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. He noted the positive contribution of mutual visits and contacts to the development of bilateral relations.
