On Monday, the ceremony of the transfer of powers of the Vice President of Turkey was held to Ankara.
Vice President Foath Oktai expressed confidence that Jewdet Yilmaz will continue to work that he carried out as vice president for 159 days.
“As Vice President of Turkey, I coordinated the work of state structures in the issue of the state budget, monitored the implementation of interstate agreements, including the Turkic-speaking states, closely contacted the authorities of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I am sure that this path will continue Jewdad Yilmaz” – said Oktai.
He highly appreciated the results of the May elections in the country, which determined the course for the further development of Turkey, and also expressed gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the possibility of working in the country’s government.
