The State Medical and Social Examination and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population organized media media representatives to the Baku Rehabilitation Center in order to familiarize themselves with rehabilitation and socio-psychological services provided by the wounded participants in the second Karabakh war.
The network of rehabilitation centers built in recent years on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev in accordance with modern requirements is of particular importance in the provision of rehabilitation and socio-psychological services to the veterans of the Patriotic War, they spoke in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In 2019-2021, 12 rehabilitation and social institutions equipped with modern equipment were commissioned after major repairs and reconstruction.
In the postwar period in rehabilitation institutions, social and psychological and rehabilitation services are provided to the wounded participants of the war and their relatives, as well as members of the family of shekhid. These services have already been provided with 1,650 people.
158 veterans with amputated lower limbs were provided with 166 high-tech prostheses, including 908 people got motorized strollers on wheels.
Media representatives got acquainted with the conditions created in the center, as well as the services provided by the participants of the Patriotic War, used here by physiotherapeutic procedures.
