Bayramoglu said that pilots with experience in managing combat aircraft are involved in a one -year course of testing aircraft, where they work with engineers and techniques, learning about the process of assembling a combat vehicle and flight characteristics of the machine developed.
The task of the testing pilot is to explain to the engineers in what missions to use the warship and participate in its development, he said. “In order for Kaan to take off, it is necessary to test the engines. It is necessary to ensure the integration of engines and other systems with an airplane and with each other. We managed to do all this. Now we check the plane on the go, and at the last stage we test the control systems, after which the Kaan will rise into the air” – said the pilot.
According to him, while the tests are held on the simulator, and when the time comes, the combat vehicle will rise into the air. “This is not just a plane, but a weapon. Thanks to domestic Kaan software, Kaan will turn into an effective weapon,” he said.
On the eve of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the Fifth -General Turkish military aircraft was called Kaan.
