Kamran Aliyev: topics of mass burials are avoided in Armenia

We are still addressing the parents of people who were missing in the First Karabakh war, said the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev during a joint briefing of the Prosecutor General and the Foreign Ministry on the topic of crimes committed by the Armed Forces of Armenia and illegal Armenian armed groups in relation to Azerbaijan since 1988 to the present.

Aliyev said that he repeatedly raised this issue at a meeting with his Armenian colleague: “But, unfortunately, the Armenian side avoids this topic and tries to evade responsibility. But we find (the remains) in mass burials. Today we took DNA samples 2-3 relatives of each missing person. We will try to identify the bodies as they are discovered. The personality of some of them is already identified. “
