Kazakhstan And South Korea Confirmed Desire To Further Strengthen Ties

The President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Meon. On Wednesday, July 23, the Akorda press service reports.

During the conversation, the leaders confirmed the desire to further strengthen the Kazakh-Korean multifaceted relations. A thorough exchange of views on a wide range of bilateral cooperation took place.

The interest in activating interaction in the trade, economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres is expressed. The importance of the effective implementation of current and promising projects in the field of industry, energy, automotive industry, education and medicine is emphasized.

President Lee Zhe Meun invited the head of the Kazakh state to make an official visit to the Republic of Korea.

Kasym -Zhomart Tokaev with gratitude accepted the invitation of the South Korean leader, and also confirmed the willingness to participate in the upcoming summit in 2026 in the format “Central Asia – the Republic of Korea” in Seoul.
