Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev and the chairman of the Senate of the Great Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaev signed a road map for the development of cooperation between the senates of the two countries for the period 2025-2026.

During the meeting, Ashimbaev congratulated Uzbekistan, who has been a friend, a neighbor and brother of Kazakhstan, with an approaching Independence Day. Political contacts at all levels, economic cooperation are actively developing, cultural and humanitarian ties are strengthened. “
Narbaeva, in turn, noted that they highly value Kazakhstan’s efforts to develop Central Asia and strengthen the Kazakh-Uzbek relations in key regions. Transport, logistics, ecology, agriculture, engineering, education, digitalization and food security.
After the meeting, Ashimbaev and Narbayev signed a road map for the development of cooperation between the Senate of the Kazakhstan Parliament and the Senate of the Uzbekistan Assembly for 2025-2026. The Assembly of Uzbekistan Narbayev was also adopted by the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev.
