Kazakhstan came to rescue of Turkey

Kazakhstanic helicopters flew to Turkey to assist in steaming fires, the official representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Talgata Wali reported, reports Mia Kazinform.

“On behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokayeva, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan sent two helicopters of the Mi-8 AMT JSC” Kazaviaspas “with water-felled devices and an operational group consisting of 16 rescuers in the Turkish Republic to assist forest fires”, – told Talgat Wali.

According to the information provided, Kazakhstan also intends to provide humanitarian assistance in restoring forest cover in burnt areas. The planted forest is designed to symbolize friendship and fraternal bonds between Kazakhstan and Turkish peoples.
