Kazakhstan Celebrates Day Of State Symbols

In Kazakhstan on Wednesday, June 4, one of the significant state holidays is celebrated – the Day of State Symbols of the Republic.

Exactly 33 years ago, the emblem, flag and anthem were approved – inalienable signs of sovereignty, freedom and identity of an independent state, Kazinform notes.

Coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, created by architects gendarbek Malibekov and Shot Aman Walikhanov, is a shanirak on a blue background – a symbol of a common house. He is framed by uki and mythical winged horses, a five -pointed star is crowned by the composition. The inscription “Qazaqstan” is made in gold letters.

The flag of Kazakhstan, developed by the artist Shaken Niyazbekov, is a blue panel with the image of the Sun, Golden Eagle and National Ornament. The rules for the use and protection of state symbols are legislatively enshrined. Abuse of them is punishable under Article 372 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
