Kazakhstan confirmed rejection of Armenia from teachings of CSTO

The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan officially confirmed Armenia’s refusal to participate in the teachings of the organization of the collective security agreement (CSTO), the press service of the department reports.

“Official information about the decision not to participate in the CSTO exercises came from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. We confirm,” the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan noted.

Recall that the teachings of the collective forces of the CSTO began on September 26 in Kazakhstan and will continue until October 8. Last Monday, the Armenian media, citing the defense department of the Republic of the country, that the decision not to participate in the exercises was made due to the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
