Kazakhstan does not give Russians to Russian military commissariats

Kazakhstan can give out the mobilization of Russian citizens, but only if a criminal case has been instituted against them and they are put on the wanted list, said the head of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Marat Akhmetzhanov, quoted by the Russian media.

“If this is a criminal offense, today every day, both from Russia and on our part, the issuance is underway within the framework of the Minsk Convention and as part of the provision of legal assistance ratified by our parliaments,” Akhmetzhanov said.

At the same time, he added that Kazakhstan will not issue Russians who are looking for military registration and enlistment offices, since “this is not a legal basis for their issuance.”
