Kazakhstan: for six months extended ban on export of petroleum products by vehicle

Kazakhstan’s authorities for another six months extended the ban on the export of oil products by vehicles in the currently operating since July 2022. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

“in particular, it was decided to extend the restrictions on the export of diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for another 6 months, which were currently operating from January 31 to July 31 to July 31 to July 31 to July 31,”

In addition, to ensure Kazakhstani manufacturers of electrical equipment by the necessary raw materials, it was decided to consider on the site of the Eurasian Economic Union a decrease in import customs duties to imported raw materials for the production of electrical products. “This will become a timely measure of support for domestic manufacturers, will help to increase the volume of production and power load,” the department explained.

The ban on the export of petroleum products by vehicle was introduced in Kazakhstan from July 12, 2022 for a period of six months, in January the decision was extended for another six months.
