Kazakhstan replaces Russian oil in Germany

Kazakhstan National Company Kazmunaygaz is considering the possibility of testing the oil party to Germany, according to the operator’s website.

We are talking about exporting Kazakhstani oil on the Druzhba pipeline for the oil refinery in the Sweden in the east of Germany. The annual capacity of this refineries exceeds 10 million tons of raw oil, it supplies Berlin fuel and most of the East Germany, the message is noted by RBC.

The issue of deliveries, the chairman of the board of Kazmunaygaz, Magzum Mirzagaliev discussed with the parliamentary state secretary of the German Ministry of Economy Michael Cologne and the deputy of the Bundestag Christian Gerke.

The Bundestag deputy expressed interest in stable supplies of raw materials from Kazakhstan. Mirzagaliev, in turn, confirmed the readiness of Kazmunaygaz to export raw materials, but noted the need to solve contract and technical issues. The press service said that the president of the country of Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev received an order to consider the possibility of trial supplies in January 2023.
