Kazakhstan will export Uranus bypassing Russia

The largest Uranus miner in the world Kazakhstan Corporation Kazatomprom will diversify the supply channels of its products abroad. Now some of them will go around Russia, writes Reuters.

Previously, a quarter of goods for the world market went abroad from Kazakhstan mainly through Russian territory.

The company plans to more actively use the Trans -Caspian International Transport Route. According to the Caspian Sea, through Azerbaijan and Georgia, 3.5 thousand tons of uranium will go to the ports of the Black Sea, and where the vessels will deliver it to customers.

on the new route, Kazatomprom plans to export about the sixth part of its annual production (21.8 thousand tons last year).
