The families of the Schehids and the war disabled people were provided with 200 apartments in the new residential complex, which opened with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and the first Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on May 2 in the Sabunchinsky district of Baku, Haqqin.az reported in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
At the ceremony of presenting the keys from new apartments, it was emphasized that after the 44-day Patriotic War at the direction of the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, an extensive program of social support for families of the shahids and war participants is being implemented.
If in 2018 the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population provided the families of the Shahids and disabled people of the war of 626 apartments/private houses, in 2019 – 50% more, that is, 934 apartments/private houses, in 2020 – 70% more than in the previous year, that is, 1572 apartments/private houses, then in 2021 this program expanded five times compared to three years earlier, and last year a program was successfully implemented to provide 3 thousand apartments and private houses.
Families of the Schehids and the disabled war who received housing, noted that they regularly receive support. They talked about the constant attention and care of the state and expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for improving their social conditions, providing new apartments.
