KGB of Belarus: in UAE, wide contacts with West in matter of fight against terrorism are established

The State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus established wide contacts with Western countries in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

This was stated by the head of the KGB Investigative Department Konstantin Bychek on the air of the national television of Belarus (ONT).

“We were able to establish wide contacts with our partners from foreign countries, such as the United States, Great Britain, France, to maintain contacts with our colleagues from the United Arab Emirates,” said Konstantin Bychik, commenting on the international forum in the UAE.

According to him, the forum scatters joint directions of further cooperation in counteracting crimes in the field of extremism and international terrorism

On the air of the TV channel, it was noted that representatives of law enforcement agencies from 15 countries met on the forum – from the USA and Great Britain to Australia and France.

delegates spoke about the experience of the struggle of their countries with terrorism and manifestations of extremism.
