Khamenei’s niece called on world to break off ties with Iran

The niece of the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, human rights activist Faride Moidhani called on foreign governments to break all ties with the Islamic Republic due to suppression of protests.

Reuters reports that the video with the call of Moradhani began to spread in the Iranian segment of the Internet after activists reported her arrest on November 23.

“Oh, free people, be with us and tell your governments to stop the support of this murderous regime and the regime of killing children. This regime is not faithful to any of their religious principles and does not know any rules except strength and preservation of power,” – She said Hamenie’s niece on the video.

Her brother Mahmoud, living in France, announced the arrest of Farid. According to him, by order of the court, she appeared to the prosecutor’s office of Tehran, where she was taken under arrest. Earlier this year, Farid was already arrested by the Iranian Intelligence Ministry, but then she was released on bail.

The UN has already confirmed the death of more than 300 people during protests in Iran, including at least 40 children. According to the organization, about 15 thousand protesters were arrested.
