On February 19, at about 01:00, the police received information about the murder of Mehriban Huseynzade born in 1974 in one of the houses in the city of Khirdalan of the Absheron district, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said
During the investigation, the police had serious suspicions that the crime was committed by the son of a woman Orhan Huseynzade born in 1998.
Huseynzade was detained and transferred to the investigation.
The detainee supposedly stabbed the woman, inflicting 21 stabs to her, and then dismembered her body and packed the remains in cellophane bags.
