The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has denied the information that the sky above Ukraine is closed. The appropriate statement appeared on the Facebook Office.
“The sky over Ukraine remains open. The state is working on a risk warning for air carriers. Information on the closure of the airspace of Ukraine is not true. The closing of airspace is not accepted by the sovereign right of Ukraine, the corresponding decision is not accepted,” the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine says .
In addition, the department noted that most airlines continue to activities without restrictions.
The ministry also commented on the insurance market situation: “Some carriers have difficulties associated with fluctuations in the insurance markets. For its part, the state is ready to support air carriers and plans to provide additional financial guarantees to support the aircraft.”
