For a few minutes ago, the judge Victoria Pleptitsyn voiced the view and the amount of punishment, which the defendant Vasilyev will suffer for a brutal crime – a brutal murder on the street who has not previously known to him by the Azerbaijani student Timur Gavrilova.
The Court decided to deprive the freedom of the killer for 19 years of the correctional colony of the strict regime with the restriction of freedom 1 year 6 months and pay a fine of 100 thousand rubles. The court also partially satisfied the lawsuit made by the victim of Gavrilova on moral compensation, and decided to recover 1.7 million rubles from Vasilyeva. And also cover the costs incurred by the mother of the murdered, from the federal budget funds.
