Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Special Representative for International Economic Cooperation Kirill Dmitriev said that Russia wants a solution that takes into account its interests regarding Ukraine: “We are seeing a breakdown in the dialogue between Russia and the United States and large-scale attempts to spread disinformation.”
Dmitriev, who is also chairman of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, published in his Telegram account statement about his negotiations in the United States.
According to him, during the negotiations he provided American officials with information about the current state of the Russian economy. He recalled that last year the Russian economy grew by 4%, and the ruble this year has strengthened against the dollar by 40%.
Kirill Dmitriev noted that some information about Russian activities does not reach the American leadership: “We are seeing huge efforts to undermine the dialogue between Russia and the United States and spread false information.”

Dmitriev added that during the negotiations in the United States, Russia expressed a desire to find a peaceful solution to Ukraine.
“Of course, we want a solution that takes into account all the interests of Russia and eliminates the main causes of the Ukrainian crisis,” he emphasized.
The Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation also commented on the news about the missile “Burevestnik”, produced in Russia and the tests of which, as announced today, have been completed.
“It is very important that this information is brought to the attention of the US leadership and key individuals. We also conveyed to the American side information about the encirclement of the Ukrainian military in the area of Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrovo,” Kirill Dmitriev wrote in his publication.
