The Russian air defense forces (air defense) repelled an UAV attack on the Kinef factory in the Kirishi district of the Leningrad Region of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko.
“The UAV attack on Kinese in the Kirishi district. One drone is shot down by the air defense forces, the other is destroyed over the territory of the enterprise. When the wreckage falls, the external structure of one of the reservoirs is damaged. The consequences are liquidated. Operational services are working. There are no casualties,” the head of the region in the Telegram channel.
Kirishi oil refinery (Kinef) is the main supplier of oil products for St. Petersburg, the Leningrad, Novgorod and Pskov regions of the Russian Federation. The company is part of the structure of PJSC Surgutneftegaz.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported neutralization on Saturday 31 BPPs over the Krasnodar Territory, the Bryansk, Leningrad and Yaroslavl regions.
