Kremlin announced meeting of Putin and Erdogan

In the near future, Russia and Turkey will hold a meeting at the highest level, the Kremlin’s message said following the results of telephone conversations of presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Before the meeting, the heads of state discussed a “set of issues of mutual interest.” First of all, it was about economic cooperation, an increase in trade volumes and the use of national currencies in the calculations. They also talked about continuing the supply of Russian energy carriers.

In addition, Putin and Erdogan discussed the situation around Ukraine “in the context of coordination of efforts to ensure the safety of shipping in the Black Sea” and grain supply.
