Participants in the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations should study the projects of memorandums received from each other with peaceful proposals and after that agree on the deadlines of the next round of negotiations.
This was stated at a briefing by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, according to Wednesday, June 4, Russian state media.
“It is obvious that for some time it will be required to consider those projects of the memorandums that have exchanged,” said the Kremlin representative. After the consideration of documents, the parties will be able to coordinate the deadline of the next round, Peskov noted.
According to him, the frequency of meetings and the cyclical negotiations on Ukrainian settlement is unlikely to be standardized, everything will depend on the readiness of the parties to continue each round.
“Here, it is probably hardly possible to establish some cyclicity, let’s say, standardized cyclicity, depends on the readiness of the parties to continue each round,” the Kremlin representative answered the question of how frequent there should be meetings so that the negotiation process does not delay.
